June 11, 1999 -- After School

[Friday. A simple time when people are rushing more rambunctiously out the doors and are more likely to leave them ajar should somebody who doesn't attend insist on entering the school building. Clicking heels ring through the halls and soon enough Haruhi's abandoned classroom radar goes off.

Currently her heels hover a few inches above the floor as she's leaned forward to slam the table with all her might, eyes watering from the dust pushed into the air.]

What do you MEAN they still haven't given you guys' club official recognition? This is head and shoulders above some of the other so-called activities! You have a calligraphy club at this school, don't you? All they do is write.

Who does a person have to talk with around here for some justice?

[Turning her head from person to person with expectant glares. A gentler glare for Maria by a slim margin]

I don't think I'm qualified to judge if she was a real witch or not. She was burned at the stake a couple hundred years ago.

Well, that's very unfortunate. Did she have an extant arrest record?

All I really know is that her name was Celeste and that she was burned for witchcraft.

That's pretty limited information; I won't sugarcoat. But Celeste and Margatroid are both quite distinctive names...
