Subject: Souji Seta (Age 18)

Subjects: Minako Aino (Age 15), Mr. and Mrs. Yamane (Ages 44 and 42)
Died from repeated stab wounds. The murder weapon has not yet been identified. All three bodies were found inside the Yamane house, after an investigation triggered by the discovery of Souji Seta.
The victims have been dead for at least 24 hours when they were found. There were signs of a struggle.
Subject: Nui Harime (Age 16)
Died from severe blunt trauma, caused by a single blow to the head with a large tree branch (Exhibit C). She was found outside her home, showing signs of having fought back against her attacker.
Subject: Hiroshi Yamane (Age 15)
Died from stab wounds to the neck and body, inflicted by a pair of fabric scissors (Exhibit E). His body was found outside the Harime household, near the body of Nui Harime.
According to several character testimonies, Hiroshi Yamane had been acting erratically during the week prior to the incident. He is the primary suspect in all five of the above murders.
Subject: Alice Margatroid (Age 16)
Suffered a concussion from a blow to the head, currently in treatment. Alice Margatroid confessed to killing Hiroshi Yamane, shortly after he killed Nui Harime. Taking into account extensive circumstantial evidence, we believe the killing to have been in self-defense.
Final note:
Upon searching the Yamane home, signs were discovered that it had been ransacked before the police arrived. A notebook belonging to Hiroshi Yamane was found, containing a number of repetitions of the phrases "Shigetsuna isn't real", "The ninth is dead", and "Who sent the letter?". However, no letter was found.
Investigation is ongoing.
