[The sky looks like Dorothy's dress in the Wizard of Oz; a relentless blue, but patched regularly with thick white clouds. Haruhi is clad in short clothes of similar hues, though her small purse doesn't match so well. She's got a clapperboard tucked under her arm. Do you know what Haruhi is not carrying? A CAMERA, BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT HIROSHI AND HINATA ARE FOR. Hey, be thankful she didn't bring a megaphone either. That's the great thing about rural filming: Everyone's voice carries really well, much less ambient noise. She describes the itinerary in a clear voice without outright shouting.]

Alright, everyone! It might rain later today so we've got to make the most of the time we have. Remember, we're shooting out of sequence, but all the non-school stuff is today. That includes the rooftop fight scene, the sleepover, the police station, and the Kasuga house scenes.

[A little more animated as she gestures expansively at the fine establishment behind her, well positioned so her arm underlines the sign.] But if there are no requests to do something else first, I think the best test of the equipment would be the group photo and the survivors eating ice cream. We can always make the video choppy like a purikura or layer sentimental music over the bad parts of the audio!

First things first: roll call, roll call. [She claps the clapperboard for emphasis.] Suzumiya Haruhi, ultra director, present.

That's right, that's who you are. [If she's disappointed that Nui isn't super impressed, it's not showing on her face right away.

Looking around]

[Hiroshi seems oddly out of it today, as if he didn't get enough sleep. Which is interesting, since he's usually sharp as a tack. Subsequently, he misses the request for roll call.

This will surely bite him in the ass.]

[Haruhi takes a couple steps towards Hiroshi, frowning silently.

Then she claps the clapperboard near his ear.]

[He practically falls over at the sound, staring at Haruhi with a wild look for a moment before straightening and readjusting his glasses.]

That... that was rather irresponsible of you, was it not?

[Maria comes to hug him.]

Don't worry. Maria's gonna keep you safe this time, from bears and space witches and Ayumu.

[It takes a moment for what Maria says to sink in. When it does, he turns to look at her, eyes wide, as if a deer caught in the headlights. Keep HIM safe? He looks around furtively.]

Perhaps... we could discuss this somewhere quieter?

[ He's not sure what else to say here?? He is, however, being a rather Responsible Adult and having brought several things, one which includes a First Aid kit just in case...

LOOK HE BROUGHT EVERYTHING THAT WAS ASKED OF HIM and some other stuff because he is literally the only Adult here, it seems. ]

[Osaka is staring at clouds at doesn't immediately hear anything Haruhi has said.]

[Standing about half a meter in front of Osaka, Haruhi waves her arm in a big slow arc.]

[Her gaze drifts from the clouds to the hand, following its motion in fascination.]

[Maya is... over her, snacking as usual. she's already gotten down to it. Quick worker, that Maya.]

[When she first sets eyes on Maya, Haruhi does not scold her immediately. If Souji or Chiyoko were here they would probably not want Maya to speak with her mouth full. Where are they.

Anyway roll call wrath will take a while to rear its ugly head.]

[You know how the google doc presented was supposed to be a summary and there's an actual script with "Kaneko: I won't forgive you! Elizabeth: I'd like to see you try!" instead of [THEY HAVE AN EPIC FIGHT] and all? Yeah, that's true, but there are also several sections of this script where [THE CHARACTER KAREN SAYS STUFF ABOUT WITCHES THAT'S TRUE] with no regard to how this will contradict the incredibly flimsy plot about Nui getting possessed or something.]

[ As much as Hinata himself would want to interject and say that... isn't her role in the movie, he can't bring himself to do it. Maybe it's because she's just a child, or maybe it's something else entirely different, it is a mystery. ]

So if you're the junior witch vice president, is there a junior witch president, secretary and treasurer? [ He's... curious, although he might not get an answer. ]

OSAKA can be the secretary. SOUJI can be the treasurer, even though he's really a sorcerer.

By the end of the day, it's started raining pretty heavily. As Nui's on her way out, a certain foreigner catches up to her from behind.]

[Definitely, definitely forgot her umbrella, and this definitely isn't a hasty excuse to talk to anybody.]
