[ Thankfully for Hinata Hajime, being a janitor was a rather easy job. Then again, he was holding a secret from everyone to the point where he had even deluded himself into thing that he was Normal, just like everyone else, even though that was a complete lie to begin with. And the mere fact that he always kept people away from his hair. Mostly because if someone did? They'd be able to figure out the truth about him, and subsequently, they'd ask questions.

Which is why he keeps himself physically away from the others.

But for the next few days, he'll be meeting with as many people as he can; partially because he wants to make firm friendships with the others and perhaps he could even help them out with their problems. Well, it's not that likely, but he can at least Try. Though they don't really have to talk about anything serious if they don't want to.

He'll walk up to anyone he passes by, though?? He's rather sociable, after all, he needs to get those FTEs! ]

Hey.

[Souji's on his way out after Saturday classes, but being himself, he tends to stop and chat with everybody at every opportunity, and the janitor's no exception.]

How's business?

It's the same as always.

[ He was planning on taking a break and eating some of his own homemade lunch (it's nothing special, really) having already tidied up most things. ] How have you been doing?

Not bad. Everything tends to slow down in the summer, even club stuff.

[He looks around, noting the unusual lack of clutter around.]

If I wouldn't be taking you away from work, my lunch plans disappeared to go buy a video camera or something.

Don't worry about it. [ Hinata states simply, with a calm look in his eyes. ]

I cleaned up most of the stuff earlier, so I should be alright.

[Like most days, Osaka is tired and sleepy. For the most part, teachers have given up waking her after class and its all too possible for Hinata to walk in on her asleep at her desk.]

... Oi, Kasuga. [ While normally he wouldn't want to wake her up from her nap, it's probably not good for her to sleep here the whole time. ]

[She shuffles a bit, mumbles something about a late paper, but doesn't wake up.]

A late paper..? [ Curiosity does get to him, unfortunately, though at the very least it's quite a relief that he's not dead (yet). ]

Oi, Kasuga-!

[ Yeah, let's try this again, a little louder this time. ]

[She jolts up, falling backward as the chair tumbles to the ground.]

AHHH!

[ That causes him to jolt, reaching out for the chair-- but it's already too late as she falls onto the ground. That definitely was not as planned, uh. Hinata will at least crouch down to her level and lend out a hand, apologetically. ]

A-Are you alright? Sorry about that.

[She squints up at him from the floor.]

S'alright. Whatcha doing on the ceiling?

I'm not on the ceiling; you're just on the ground.

Ohhhhhhhh. [In that case, she'll actually grab his hand now.]

[ And he'll take that hand and pull her up, laughing a little awkwardly as he does. Is she okay?? She looks to be fine. ]

You alright? [ Just double checking. ]

[Did somebody say something earlier today about lunch companions and video camera purchases? Well, the hurricane in question has a post-hamburger animation about her movements and is dollying a video camera into a storage room of the school. She's humming to herself as she rolls along; it's a completely unfamiliar song that skips and starts and repeats a lot. Is she making it up herself?

Regardless of whichever brunette sees the other first (and in all Haruhi's self-centered glory, Hinata could just as easily be the more mindful one, honestly) she'll nod at him and smile.]

Hinata-san, good afternoon.

[ Hinata isn't the type to space out, especially since he's actually rather wary of people getting too close for reasons left unsaid, but he does notice her rather quickly, raising a hand by a means of greeting. ]

Good afternoon, Suzumiya. [ He doesn't mind the way he's being greeted at all in the slightest, though it seems rather... formal. Suspicious. ] Was there something you wanted?

Nothing much! [She leans on the camera a little off-center, and the wheels form tiny circles on the floor, like a swivel chair] I've just been looking for a place to put these between now and the shoot on Sunday.

[Continuing to smile sweetly. Suspicious indeed.] That's not going to be a problem, right?

It shouldn't be a problem, yeah.

[ She doesn't seem to be holding anything dangerous?? She should be fine. Besides, he'll take responsibility for things as long as she doesn't fuck things up somehow.

Please don't fuck things up somehow, Suzumiya... ]

You can store it in the closet, if you want to.
